Bootleg Canyon Mountain Biking Tour from Las Vegas -- Enjoy a half day of riding in Bootleg Canyon, the newest spot for biking in the West. Bootleg Canyon has recently been featured in several magazines for it?s scenic singletrack and rugged terrain. The 35 miles of trails are fashioned in ski-slope style, each connecting with another, allowing an infinite number of loops and runs. With the blue water of Lake Mead looming in the background, you can wind your way through exciting cross-country trails, keeping an eye open for the occasional Desert Bighorn Sheep (who incidentally, have the right-of-way on trails!). Other wildlife such as the Desert Tortoise, Turkey Vulture, Red-Tailed Hawk, the Kit Fox, and the Coyote also inhabit the area, and are often spotted by the observant eye.

Hotel pick ups are included. Gratuity is not included. Minimum of 2 people required. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 888-698-7952. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

After you are completely outfitted with a full suspension bike, helmet, and everything else needed for a safe trip, a shuttle will drop you and your group at the trailhead to begin the adventure and excitement. After some essential biking instruction from your guide and a quick safety check, you can start cranking those pedals. Your guide is not only a leader on the trails, but an information guru about local history, plant and animal life, and desert geology. You might learn a few interesting facts about the creation of Boulder City, Hoover Dam, and Lake Mead, that you didn't know before. If you are feeling confident, try to stump them with a question about bikes (I bet you can't).

Rest stops are mandatory for refueling, hydrating, and admiring the awesome views. In the distance, you will recognize Las Vegas, Red Rock Canyon, Boulder City, Lake Mead, and Eldorado Canyon. The serenity of Bootleg Canyon is a stark contrast to the bright lights and constant bustling of the Strip. Your guide(s) will provide bottled water, snacks, and an extensive repertoire of cheesy guide humor.

Our guides are experts on this mountain, and can cater to all levels of experience and ability. Our guided trips are arranged to be enjoyable for beginners and intermediate alike. Experience is not necessary, although you will feel more comfortable on the trail and have a more enjoyable experience if you have ridden a bike off pavement before. The trails are groomed singletrack, consisting mostly of loose dirt on hard rock, with ups and downs, and some dodging of natural obstacles in your path. Although the local trailmaster keeps the area in tip-top shape, the surrounding desert is extremely rugged and caution should always be exercised when participating in any outdoor sport. We will supply you with proper protection, however, we cannot guarantee you will not have an 'off-the-bike" experience. You are the only person who can judge whether or not this trip is for you.

As your safety is our number one concern, it is important to us that you are extremely well cared for. All of our Guides are First Aid and CPR certified. They will always be equipped with a First Aid kit, and communication device in case of an emergency. All of our equipment is high-end, top-quality gear. Helmets and protective pads are mandatory on all trips.
