Colorado River Rafting Tours The Colorado River Rafting Trip and Hoover Dam Tour is a 12-mile rapid-free raft trip down the Colorado River and Hoover Dam Tour. This sightseeing journey begins with a 12-mile, rapid-free raft trip down the Colorado River to Willow Beach, Arizona. This soft adventure gently flows from the very base of the Hoover Dam, affording a view and perspective of the dam available nowhere else. Along the way, expert guides point out the soaring birds of prey, the gravity defying bighorn sheep, and the unexpected waterfalls and bubbling hot springs.
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final. Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center. At Willow Beach you will board our SUV for a drive over an incredible scenic 4x4 road to a location called Rainbow Canyon, an incredible and colorful experience. This canyon is the watering route for Bighorn Sheep and Wild Burros where they follow the wash to a beautiful hidden beach on Lake Mead. Before returning to Las Vegas we stop at the famous Hoover Dam where you will have the opportunity to photograph the amazing structure and its monuments as well as tour the visitor center. Located just outside of Las Vegas, in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, the Hoover Dam is the highest structure of its kind in the world. It is an outstanding achievement, noteworthy not only for its enormous dimensions, complex design and intricate construction, but also for it's illustration of man's outstanding ability to overcome the desert's summer sun, the vagaries of a treacherous river, and the extreme hazards of great heights on the chasm's sheer walls. This tour is a combination of float raft trip, paved road travel, and gentle off-road travel. There is limited access to facilities. Includes a Deli lunch.
