Sixty years before the first lights of Las Vegas lit up the desert night, 3,000 miners, prospectors, gunfighters and entrepreneurs built a town in the desert called Goodsprings. For a while they prospered, finding gold and silver in the nearby mountains. Then, they vanished!

Hop on board for this outstanding Hummer tour that will take you to this historic mining district. Thrill at the breathtaking view of the valleys sprinkled with desert plants as you ascend to 5,000 feet. Your guide will tell fascinating stories of determined men who risked their lives searching for riches in this unforgiving desert. Photograph the remains of their camps and mines deserted long ago. There is time for rock hunting and searching for gold!!!

The powerful Hummer will carry you through lava fields between mountains destroyed by volcanic activity. See strange ruins left by an ancient civilization, men who hunted here 1,000 years before the Spanish came. In the "almost ghost town" of Goodsprings the oldest schoolhouse and saloon in southern Nevada are still open for business. There is a $5.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
